Natural materials
Speckled stoneware, washed linen, undyed jute, and solid brass.
Description
Each Nord placemat is woven from natural jute and laid in a 38 cm circle - wide enough for a dinner plate and a glass without feeling cramped. The fiber is naturally heat-resistant, so a warm serving bowl can be placed directly on it, and because the jute is left undyed, the shade varies slightly from one placemat to another.
